A new photo just donated to the Jefferson Historical Society by Adele Hodgkins Suga shows Sheridan Hodgkins with nine of his grandchildren in 1933. Weston, Lloyd, Mary are the children of Bryan and Eleanor Dufresne Hodgkins; Betty Hodgkins is the daughter of Meda (Sawyer) and Earl Hodgkins.

The Jefferson Historical Society is set to hold its first 2024 open house from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 27,  as well as its homemade cookie sale, at the Old Jefferson Town House, 7 Gardiner Road.

Exhibits this year include new items donated to the the society in the past year as well some established displays. From ox yokes to deeds to clothing to old photographs of many older Jefferson homes and much more, there is a wide mixture of things to see.

Also available will be the 2025 edition of the Jefferson Vintage Photographs calendar and other Jefferson memorabilia.
