EAST BENTON – Eliza Ethel Linnell, 82, passed peacefully on July 16, 2024, in her home. Eliza was born in Freedom to Elsie (Upham) and Daniel McDonald on Jan. 28, 1942. She was in the last class to graduate from the Freedom Academy School.
Eliza went on to raise a family of four and worked for K-Mart for 20 years until her illness set in. She was a homemaker, a tool painter, crocheter, knitter, and loved to travel with her husband, Bill, to antique shops.
She was predeceased by both her parents; first husband Maurice Meservie; sons Walter and Maurice Jr.; and grandson Mike Henderson.
Eliza is survived by her husband Bill Linnell Sr.; brother Eddie Mc- Donald with wife Donna; daughters Eliza Henderson with husband John and Heidi Meunier, sons Lee Meservie, Bill Linnel Jr. with wife Lisa, and Dennis Linnell; along with many grandkids, great-grandkids, nieces, and nephews. Whatever she touched, her heart and soul was put into it.
