PALERMO — The Living Communities Foundation plans to sponsor a family barbecue at 4-6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3, in the Palermo Community Garden by the grape arbor at 26 Veterans Way.
Takeouts are available. At 6 p.m., the firepit will be lit and Anthony Semenovich will stroll around with his guitar and play some favorites.
Tickets cost $10 for adults, and $5 for children aged 6-12. Selling tickets are Ann Bako, Grace O’Brien, Nancy Thomas and Connie Bellet.
Bako has been collecting many useful and fun items for the raffle, too, including a gas-powered weed whip and a number of gift certificates. Raffle tickets cost six for $5, and winners do not need to be present.
To reserve tickets or request more information, call Bellet at 207-993-2294.
