JEFFERSON — St. Giles Country Fair is set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 27, at St. Giles Episcopal Church, 72 Gardiner Road.
The fair, to raise money for the church and its outreach activities, will feature numerous vendors and the church parishioners have organized their own tables.
There will be two raffles, one with donations from local merchants and also a separate raffle of a queen-size quilt made by a donor.
The fair will include the church’s traditional country cupboard booth and a pie sale.
A garden market will include a selection of sun and shade perennials, a variety of potted colorful annuals, herbs, house plants and starters, and fresh vegetables.
Children’s activities will be hosted by Giles, the church’s very own mouse. Parishioners will offer meatball sandwiches and hotdogs on the grill.
Live music throughout the day includes the four-part barbershop harmony quartet Heart ‘n Soul and music by Anne-Marie Smith and Orville Lee.

We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
For those stories that we do enable discussion, our system may hold up comments pending the approval of a moderator for several reasons, including possible violation of our guidelines. As the Maine Trust’s digital team reviews these comments, we ask for patience.
Comments are managed by our staff during regular business hours Monday through Friday and limited hours on Saturday and Sunday. Comments held for moderation outside of those hours may take longer to approve.
