
Palermo Community Garden is set to hold a community cookout at 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, behind the gray mobile home at 26 Veterans Way. The event will be held rain or shine.
The menu includes pulled pork and cornbread, along with turkey, cowboy beans, garden-fresh salads and home-baked desserts.
Tickets cost $10, or $5 for youth ages 6-12 and is free for younger children.
Tickets will be available at the gate but also can be reserved by calling Connie Bellet at 207-993-2294.
