The Maine Marine Patrol recovered a man’s body from Casco Bay around 10:30 a.m. Friday.

A recreational fisherman found the unidentified man in the water about 100 yards from the end of Indian Point Road on Chebeague Island, the marine patrol said.

The fisherman called police and the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office notified the marine patrol at 9:18 a.m.

Marine patrol officers brought the body to a local funeral home before it was taken to the state medical examiner for identification.
