NEWCASTLE — The Maine New Farmers Project at the University of Maine Cooperative Extension is set to offer a farm visit from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, at Veggies To Table Farm, 27 Bailey Lane.

Executive Director Erica Berman will discuss cut flower production on the farm. This event is geared toward people interested in starting a farm in Maine or who have started one in the last 10 years. It provides an opportunity to learn important skills as well as network with other farmers and service providers.
The event is free; registration on the program webpage at extension.umaine.edu is required to stay up to date with updates and resources.
