VASSALBORO — The Sixth annual School Supplies Drive by Drop Off is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, at North Vassalboro Fire Station, 681 Main St.
Suggested donations include #2 pencils, socks, backpacks, tissues, 1-inch notebooks, index cards, water bottles, earbuds, subject dividers, sharpeners Crayons, Wet-Wipes, craft materials, construction paper, tape, calculators, spiral notebooks, pencil bags, highlighters, snacks, sticky notes, colored pencils, pens, hats and mittens, according to a news release from Donald Breton, event sponsor.
This fundraiser is to support Vassalboro Community School students.
Items also can be dropped off at the Vassalboro Town Office at 682 Main St., or the Maine Savings Federal Credit Union at 921 Main St.
