LEVANT — Treworgy Family Orchards is again in the running for the title of Best Corn Maze in the USA, competing against 20 other top corn mazes nationwide. Following its triumph the past two years, Treworgy’s is back with a new design for 2024, featuring the character Peter Rabbit, according to a news release from the orchard.
This year’s five-acre maze invites visitors to join Peter Rabbit on an adventure through the maze, encountering interactive trivia stations about Beatrix Potter and Peter Rabbit along the way. A novel feature of this year’s maze is a 25-foot tall observation tower in the midst of the maze, offering panoramic views of the intricate maze design and the surrounding landscape.
“Our Peter Rabbit theme celebrates the charm and curiosity of Beatrix Potter’s classic stories,” said Jonathan Kenerson, a Treworgy Orchards owner. “We hope this new maze not only delights our visitors but also continues our tradition of creating memorable experiences for families.”
The winner of the Best Corn Maze contest is determined by public votes. Fans can vote daily at 10best.usatoday.com/qr/41520 The voting period started Aug. 12 and runs until noon Monday, Sept. 9, with the winner announced Wednesday, Sept. 18.
The corn maze will be open through early November.
