BATH — Cheryl Wheeler with Kenny White plan to take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, at Chocolate Church Arts Center, 804 Washington St.

Wheeler is a highly respected songwriter among her peers, and many of them have recorded her songs. Her music has been covered by a diverse range of artists such as Dan Seals, Peter Paul and Mary, Kenny Loggins, Garth Brooks, Suzy Boggus, Melanie, Bette Midler, Maura O’Connell, Sylvia, Kathy Mattea, and Holly Near.
Her concerts are more like a comedy club than a typical folk music concert. She will entertain you with hilarious stories that will have you in stitches, and then move you to tears with her beautiful singing. She will talk about some serious current events, and then sing a song that will have you howling with laughter.
White comes to the world of the touring singer-songwriter following a long and successful musical journey. An accomplished pianist, who also performs on guitar, he has now become more known for his clever lyrics.
Tickets cost $30 in advance or $35 day of show.
