SKOWHEGAN — Madi Flannery and Allie Frey scored two goals apiece as Skowhegan topped Lawrence 5-0 in a KVAC girls soccer matchup on Tuesday.
Lauryn Moore also scored for Skowhegan (2-0), while Flannery, Lydia Herrick, McKaela McLaughlin and Vivian Hart each had an assist. Natalie Cooke made five saves in goal.
Zoe Hutchins stopped 12 shots for Lawrence (1-1).
WATERVILLE 4, MT. VIEW 1: Sadie Williams scored twice as the Purple Panthers won for the first time at Waterville.
Madi Gervais had a goal and an assist for Waterville (1-1), while Maeve Wilcox also scored. Keeper Lundyn Beaulieu made 13 saves.
Lucy Dennison scored for Mt. View (1-1), while Maggie Natale made 12 saves.
MORSE 3, WINSLOW 0: The Shipbuilders scored all their goals in the second half to earn the win in Bath.
Shea Brochu, Zoe Nicholson and Helen Robicheaw scored for Morse, and Emma Wallace had an assist.
Morse outshot Winslow (0-1), 29-5.
BOYS SOCCER
LEAVITT 3, CONY 2: Vanya Bezhenar scored twice as the Hornets earned their first win of the season in Augusta.
Jacob Gibbs also scored for Leavitt (1-1), and Jake Dening had an assist. Carter Fleischer and Mohammed Albahadly scored for Cony (1-1).
Alex Corey made 13 saves in goal for Leavitt, while Cony counterpart Jadyn Nora had seven.
MONMOUTH ACADEMY 4, OAK HILL 0: Youth served up a win for the Mustangs in an MVC victory in Monmouth.
Freshman Zane Foyt scored twice for Monmouth (2-0) , while fellow freshman Bryce Fletcher and sophomore Vasili Bendo also had goals. Jake Harmon, Tyler Johnson and Gavin Parsons tallied an assist each.
Mustangs goalie Lewis Lamoreau stopped all five shots he face and earned a shutout with the help of defenders Bingham Abbott, Sam Schultz, Gabe Godbout, Will Hamel and James Paradis.
Wyatt Blier made 18 saves for Oak Hill (1-1), and Monmouth coach Joe Fletcher noted that Drew Hatala and Jordan Castonguay played solid for the Raiders in the midfield.
FIELD HOCKEY
MCI 11, MT. VIEW 0: Charlotte Peasley had a hat trick as the Huskies earned their first win of the season in Pittsfield.
Bailey Churchhill and Aleah Harris each scored twice for MCI (1-2), while Lucia Wilson, Danielle Arminger, Riley Williams and Norah Jamison added a goal apiece. Keydaliz Rivera made two saves in goal.
Kelsey Stevenson stopped 15 shots for Mt. View (0-3).
