AUGUSTA — A “Learn to Hunt: Upland Bird Hunting” course is set for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, at the Sportsman’s Alliance of Maine Outdoor Area, 2273 Belfast Road (Route 9).
This workshop will be split into two sessions: 9 a.m. to noon will be class setting, where equipment, methods and habitats will be discussed; and 1-4 p.m. will be the range portion, which includes safe gun handling, shooting at clay targets, basic cleaning, maintenance and storage of weapon.
