My name is Nathaniel White, and I’m excited to announce my candidacy for state Senate in District 16, representing Waterville, Winslow, Fairfield, Oakland and Albion. I have deep roots in this community, living in Fairfield in the house my grandfather called home for 91 years. I was born and raised in Waterville, graduated from Waterville High School, and earned a bachelor’s degree from Thomas College along with two master’s degrees, one in business administration with a focus in health care management and the other in educational leadership.

I am running for Senate to bring a fresh set of eyes to Augusta, taking on challenges like affordable housing, fair wages, and reducing the cost of living essentials which include groceries and fuel. While my opponent, Scott Cyrway, served as a state senator before terming out, I believe it’s time for new leadership with innovative ideas to move our community forward.

With experience as a teacher, firefighter/EMT, and health care worker, I’ve seen firsthand the importance of quality education, accessible health care, and a strong local economy. I’m eager to hear your ideas and work together for a brighter future in District 16. Feel free to reach out anytime!
