Fiscal responsibility is critical for the future of Augusta, and that’s why I’m supporting Marcus Emerson for sate representative. His platform emphasizes tax burden relief, recognizing that residents and small business owners alike cannot afford additional financial burdens. In a time when many are struggling to make ends meet, it is refreshing to see a candidate who is committed to fiscal control.
Marcus’s experience as a small-business owner and former state employee gives him the insight needed to manage our state’s budget effectively. He understands the importance of balancing the budget without resorting to increasing taxes, which could stifle economic growth and hurt working families. Maine is one of the highest taxed states in the nation and Marcus aims to fix that.
I believe Marcus Emerson will be a strong advocate for the financial well-being of all residents in Augusta. I encourage everyone to support his candidacy on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
