WATERVILLE — The Downtown Waterville Farmers’ Market at the Head of Falls parking lot opened for the season April 17.

The market, which is open Thursdays, features area vendors selling fresh produce, maple syrup, bread, meat, mushrooms and other items. Winter market hours are 2-5 p.m. through April and summer market hours are 2-6 p.m. starting May 1.

Typically the market is held at Chace Forum, 150 Main St., but warmer weather has made it possible to get outside a little early.

For other farmers’ market hours and offerings, check out the Maine Federation of Farmers’ Markets website.
