I am writing in support of Raegan LaRochelle’s candidacy for state Senate for the Augusta area. I have know Raegan for a long time, since she was a state champ basketball player at Cony High School and when she worked with me at what is now the Maine Center for Disease Control (CDC).
As we worked together at the former Maine CDC we addressed health issues such as tobacco prevention and control for the whole population through state policies to reduce smoking in Maine. Through her public health experience she knows how to reduce disease and medical costs by focusing on legislative policies. As a current legislator she has continued her work by passing bills to increase dental health prevention programs.
Raegan has recently served in the House of Representatives for part of Augusta and is knowledgeable of the legislative process and the issues important to those in Augusta. Please support Raegan LaRochelle for Senate for the greater Augusta area.
