Mainers get to meet candidates who want to represent us. Getting to know them makes a difference. I have met Elise Brown several times, and I’m voting for her to be Waldo County’s District 3 commissioner.
I have spoken with Elise at Searsmont’s town meeting and Memorial Day parade, and at Hannaford supermarket. At a Searsmont selectmen’s meeting she asked, “What do you need from your county government?” and I was impressed at how she listened to the answers. Elise tells you when she does not know something, and treats you like you are the most important person in the room. Not every candidate does that.
I call Elise Brown a breath of fresh air. Come November, if you live in Brooks, Burnham, Freedom, Knox, Liberty, Montville, Morrill, Palermo, Searsmont, Thorndike, Troy or Unity, you can call her Waldo County’s District 3 county commissioner. Join me in voting for Elise.
