I’m writing in support of Rep. Sally Cluchey in the upcoming election. I (Adele) have driven Sally as she visits constituents in Richmond, Bowdoin and Bowdoinham. It’s been a privilege to witness democracy at its most granular level — when a state representative, standing at the foot of the porch stairs, humbly asks, “What’s on your mind?”
These conversations can last 30 minutes. Sally is patient and genuinely interested. Her advice and comments are empathetic, practical and bipartisan.
