READFIELD – It is with devastating sadness that we announce the untimely death of our beloved daughter, Sadie, just 18 years old, on July 3, 2024. She was born April 4, 2006.

It is hard to put into words Sadie’s loss to our family. The hole she has left will never be filled. Every holiday will hurt but every family dinner will hurt more. She was beautiful, funny, highly intelligent and gifted. She was amazing at drawing animation and had a large following online. She loved Art. Her early childhood started in Mechanic Falls and later on Vinalhaven where she walked all the trails and learned to swim in the Quarry.

She loved rollercoasters at Universal Studios and Disney World and visited her family in England with her younger brother. She was a hard worker and even won a college scholarship from KFC. She saved her money diligently for going to USM to study History. She wanted to work in a museum.

She enjoyed driving her car on long road trips to restaurants for food she wanted to try. She loved filet mignon, sushi, Cadburys chocolate, charcuterie and chicken. She liked 90’s fashion, jewelry, precious stones and shopping online or with friends. We will miss her opening the packages that came from all over the world to see what she had ordered.

She was a loyal friend to the people lucky enough to get close to her. She was always thinking of what gift to give. She had a quick wit and a sensitive heart. She had unlimited potential. She brought us so much joy and we will always think of her everyday with unlimited pride and love.

She will be missed by family and friends all over the world. She is survived by her parents, Oscar and Meaghan Falconer; her younger brother Reid Falconer; grandmother Peggy Callahan of Wilton, grandfather Neil Falconer of Leicestershire, UK. grandmother Terrie Dodds of Leicestershire, UK.

Sadie was a total cat person and cherished the cats we had adopted from the Animal Shelter. Those cats brought her so much joy. Please give to the Kennebec Humane Society in her honor.

Arrangements and guidance are in the care of Roberts Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 62 Bowdoin Street, Winthrop, Maine.

Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared with the family on the obituary page of the Roberts Funeral Home website, http://www.khrfuneralhomes.com.
