Public safety is a top concern for many residents in Augusta, and that’s why I’m supporting Marcus Emerson for state representative. Marcus’s platform emphasizes the importance of keeping our downtown and neighborhoods safe, recognizing that a safe community is the foundation for a prosperous one.
As a Marine Corps veteran, Marcus knows firsthand the importance of safety and security. His experience will be invaluable in making sure that our law enforcement agencies have the resources they need to protect us. Additionally, he understands how the drug and overdose epidemic needs empathy and real, long-term solutions.
I believe Marcus Emerson will be a strong advocate for public safety in Augusta. Please join me in voting for him on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
