I am writing to support Nathaniel White for Maine Senate for Fairfield, Waterville, Winslow, Albion and Oakland. He understands the real-life experiences and challenges faced by residents from all walks of life, all genders, all ages, all abilities, all backgrounds.
His opponent, in contrast, is quite out of touch with the realities we face. In his years in the Legislature, he has consistently voted as his party leaders have instructed rather than in the true interests of constituents.
Nathaniel’s experiences as a teacher, firefighter, coach and city councilor have given him the tools needed to work with others to find common ground on critical issues that affect the residents of our communities.
As a physician, I greatly appreciate his support for reproductive health care directed by women, not politicians. Women’s lives and futures depend on it.
We need Nathaniel White in the Maine Senate.

We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
For those stories that we do enable discussion, our system may hold up comments pending the approval of a moderator for several reasons, including possible violation of our guidelines. As the Maine Trust’s digital team reviews these comments, we ask for patience.
Comments are managed by our staff during regular business hours Monday through Friday and limited hours on Saturday and Sunday. Comments held for moderation outside of those hours may take longer to approve.
