We are so fortunate to have Richard Bradstreet as a candidate for state senator from District 15 (Augusta, Belgrade, China, Mount Vernon and Vassalboro). His time as state representative and small-business owner provides him with a wealth of knowledge for serving the interests of his district. It’s so comforting to place our support behind someone that listens to his constituency, and takes an unbiased, common-sense approach to our concerns.
As a state representative, he served on the Judiciary Committee and six years on Labor and Housing. This impacts our lives directly and we need an advocate who knows the inner workings of state government. He doesn’t cow-tow to lobbyists and party leaders just to get along. His honesty, integrity and leadership skills are without question; that in itself should make a difference in placing your vote.
He has served us well as a state representative, so we are confident in casting our vote for Richard Bradstreet as our senator for District 15. Please join us on Tuesday, Nov. 5, and be sure to vote.

We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
For those stories that we do enable discussion, our system may hold up comments pending the approval of a moderator for several reasons, including possible violation of our guidelines. As the Maine Trust’s digital team reviews these comments, we ask for patience.
Comments are managed by our staff during regular business hours Monday through Friday and limited hours on Saturday and Sunday. Comments held for moderation outside of those hours may take longer to approve.
