Constance “Connie” Patricia Matlack

AUGUSTA – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Constance “Connie” Patricia Matlack, of Augusta, on Sept. 29, 2024, at the age of 39. Connie was born on May 24, 1985, in Biddeford, Maine. She grew up in Lewiston and was a 2003 graduate of Lewiston High School.

Some of Connie’s passions were cooking, chorus and photography. She was known for her kindness, generosity, and love of her family. She was deeply cherished by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Over the years, Connie worked in the hospitality industry at local establishments such as: The Senator Inn and Spa, Higher Grounds, Easy Street Lounge, Circa 1889, and John Sullivan’s which led to many wonderful friendships.

Connie is survived by her fiance, Rob Collins; daughter, Lydia Collins; mother, LaRonda Riley; grandmother, Constance Milan; brother, Paul Treasure and sister, Ashley Quiles. She is also survived by many beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; as well as many close friends.

Connie was predeceased by her naternal great grandparents, Arthur and Rose Poulin of Lewiston.

Connie’s visitation will be held on Wednesday Oct. 9 from 4 – 6 p.m., her funeral service will follow immediately after at Knowlton & Hewins Funeral Home, 1 Church Street, Augusta. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
