The Maine Cheese Guild’s 16th annual Open Creamery Day is set for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13.
Maine creameries around the state will open their doors and their barns, inviting the public to meet the animals that make the milk and tour the creameries to learn about the tradition of Maine cheese making.
People can check out the creamery map for locations of participating creameries and get more information at mainecheeseguild.org.
