I will only support candidates who will work across the aisle to get the work of the people done. Therefore, I am supporting Judy Tunkle for state representative for the towns of Chelsea, Dresden, Pittston and Randolph. Judy lives in Dresden and I have seen her at numerous events speaking about what is important to our community. I have been very impressed at how she listens to everyone knowing every voice and opinion counts.
She has worked tirelessly and successfully to bring broadband to Dresden, where so many of our neighbors have never had high-speed internet service. Soon they will because of her. Judy’s experience as a small-business owner she knows how important internet service is for growing a business. I know she will work hard to build consensus and find solutions to help all Mainers in her district.

We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
For those stories that we do enable discussion, our system may hold up comments pending the approval of a moderator for several reasons, including possible violation of our guidelines. As the Maine Trust’s digital team reviews these comments, we ask for patience.
Comments are managed by our staff during regular business hours Monday through Friday and limited hours on Saturday and Sunday. Comments held for moderation outside of those hours may take longer to approve.
