WAYNE — The Pooh Bear Childcare Program for early childhood education at the Wayne Community Church has announced its reopening.
The new Pooh Bear program includes an outside play area. The program is under the leadership of Director Sarah Ouellette, along with support staff. Ouellette is a graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington with a degree in early childhood education.
The daycare’s location within the church’s Education Wing allows for a unique integration of community and educational resources, according to a news release. The childcare program continues the church’s dedication to serving the local and surrounding communities. Pooh Bear’s history at the church dates back to the 1970s.
New applications are being accepted.
