SOUTH PARIS — Bree Griffin’s tie-breaking goal with 3:18 remaining in regulation lifted Mt. Blue past Oxford Hills 2-1 in field hockey action Saturday morning.

Grace Allen assisted on Griffin’s goal. Avery Tinker also scored for Mt. Blue (10-4), assisted by Kali Judkins. Gwen Lesperance had two saves in goal.

Abby Toohey scored for Oxford Hills (1-12), with Lily Hammond assisting. Goalie Kya Smith had eight saves.

GIRLS SOCCER

TEMPLE ACADEMY 6, VINALHAVEN 0: Dixie Szabo scored three goals, including the 100th of her career, as the Bereans won in Waterville.

BOYS SOCCER

WINTHROP 1, CONY 0: Nick Wagner scored the only game of the goal as the Ramblers won in Winthrop.

Jaxon August made six saves for Winthrop (4-6-3).

Cony falls to 3-9-0.
