I strongly support Dave Rollins’ candidacy for the Maine House representing Augusta.
Dave grew up in Augusta and was a standout athlete at Cony High School. After school, he entered the business world, and later donated his time to public service here in Augusta. He knows Augusta from the ground up, having served as a city councilor and mayor for several years, learning firsthand about local issues, and working on ways to boost the local economy.
His wife Jan served as assistant principal at Cony. That reinforced his belief that investing in public education pays out high returns. This includes developing financial literacy opportunities for students in kindergarten through 12th grade, to prepare them for the economic facts of life.
Having worked in an executive capacity while in public service, Dave knows how to deliver results. I am confident he will continue to do so as our state representative.
