Shannon McDonnell understands what is driving property tax increases due to her experience as chairperson of the Winthrop Town Council. She has identified eliminating and/or reducing dozens of “unfunded state mandates” on towns, schools and the county. This includes L.D. 1594, an unfunded state mandate her opponent voted for, which was a significant contributor to our property tax increase.
We need people in the Legislature who understand the needs of local taxpayers and how devastating property taxes have become to many individuals and businesses. Vote for change in 2024; vote for Shannon McDonnell.
