We all know the importance of this year’s national election. But perhaps citizens are less aware of the impact that local elections can have. Whether it is the property tax bill you get from your local municipality, or the quality of education that your children and grandchildren will receive.
That’s why I am supporting incumbent Dale Macklin and write-in candidate Kyla Mihalovits for the Winslow Town Council.
They have both shown the ability to solve problems, think critically, and work with the management team in Winslow.
They know how a municipal budget works, including the fund balance. They know the importance of a strong school system and the capital investments necessary to ensure a healthy community. And, they are willing to do the hard work required of them.
Make sure to write Kyla’s name for District 4, in the appropriate slot, and then fill in the oval.
