Many politicians claim to know the will of their constituents. While the accuracy of that claim varies widely, I can personally attest to Raegan LaRochelle’s commitment to understanding the people she represents. As a city councilor, state representative, and future state senator, Raegan does the work necessary to know her community well.
Over the course of Raegan’s campaign to become the next senator for District 15, Raegan and her team knocked on more than 8,000 doors, with thousands of these doors being knocked by Raegan personally. I have been a part of this effort and I can tell you, there is no better way to truly understand your district than this. Raegan has demonstrated that she cares about our concerns and priorities through her actions. I hope you’ll join me in voting for her this November.

We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
For those stories that we do enable discussion, our system may hold up comments pending the approval of a moderator for several reasons, including possible violation of our guidelines. As the Maine Trust’s digital team reviews these comments, we ask for patience.
Comments are managed by our staff during regular business hours Monday through Friday and limited hours on Saturday and Sunday. Comments held for moderation outside of those hours may take longer to approve.
