Earl Crocker
WEST GARDINER – Earl Crocker, 58, a talented and compassionate soul, was born on Sept. 21, 1966, in Gardiner. His life was an inspiring journey of love, friendship, and dedication that will be fondly remembered by all those whose lives he graciously touched. Ivan was someone who could be relied upon without hesitation, a characteristic that won him the admiration of all who came across him. On Nov. 5, 2024, Ivan concluded his earthly journey, leaving behind a legacy filled with heartwarming memories and profound lessons of life.
Raised and residing in West Gardiner, Ivan developed a passion for automotive mechanics from a young age. He turned this passion into a successful career as an automotive technician. His generosity was apparent in his work; Ivan was always willing to lend a hand when a vehicle needed fixing or when a friend needed help. Among his many talents, he had an extraordinary love for music. He played the guitar with a passion that was infectious, often performing for the elderly in his community. Ivan was a proud member of the Litchfield Sportsman Club and the Country Music Association, where his love for music and the great outdoors converged.
Ivan’s life was full of diverse hobbies that enriched his existence. He found joy in fishing, woodworking, and tinkering on vehicles. He was known for his disc golf matches with little Mike, which showcased his youthful spirit. Above all, Ivan valued his relationships, placing his parents and friends on the highest pedestal.
He is survived by his father, Earl Crocker, and his mother, Mildred Crocker, who will forever cherish their time with him; his country music friends Paul, Bob, Dennis, Carol, Dave and Steve to name a few; good friend little Mike; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
At Ivan’s request there will be no services.
His life was a testament to the power of compassion, generosity, and reliability. Let us remember Ivan Earl Crocker for the wonderful human being that he was, and let his life continue to inspire us.
