Lenora Ann Stone

LEWISTON – Lenora Ann Stone, 73, passed away on Nov. 1, 2024, in Lewiston. Born on Oct. 21, 1951, to John W. Hibbard and Kathryn Marie Dyer Kennedy in Madison, Lenora was a devoted homemaker who balanced various jobs throughout her life, often working alongside her beloved husband, Raymond A. Stone, to whom she was married for 43 years.

Lenora found joy in crafting, especially sewing, painting, and other artistic pursuits. She treasured time spent with her husband, children, and grandchildren, making memories filled with laughter and love.

She was predeceased by her father, John W. Hibbard, stepfather, Leroy Kennedy; brother, Frederick Hibbard, sister, Donna Hibbard; and grandson, John-Russell Hibbard.

She leaves behind her husband Raymond; mother Kathryn Marie Kennedy; siblings, Charles Hibbard, Dana and Brenda Hibbard, as well as four step-siblings, John, LeAnne, Jamie, and Lisa; children, John A. Hibbard, Jean Harper, Ron Harriman, Tabitha Barter, Jan Stone, Joy and Mike Rockwell, Jill and Sean Spear, and Jay Stone; her grandchildren, Shannon, Aimee, Nicholas, Elizabeth, Noah, Alexander, Kathryn-Emma, Johnathan, Michael, Samantha, Simon, and Kyle; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held at Funeral Alternatives, 25 Tampa St., Lewiston, ME, 04240, Monday, Nov. 11 at 1 p.m., followed by a service at 2 p.m.
