WATERVILLE — The person killed in a single-vehicle crash earlier this week was identified Friday by police.

Caitlynn Harriman, 32, of Wayne, died in a crash near the intersection of Trafton and West River roads at around 4:30 a.m. Monday, Maj. Jason Longley of the Waterville Police Department said.
Harriman’s friends and family memorialized her in social media posts, including Emily Reed, Harriman’s younger sister.
“I am so grateful for the time I had with my sister. We really leaned on each other especially after my father passed away unexpectedly in 2022,” Reed wrote. “It feels strange to know that the next time the three of us will be reunited will be in heaven; however, I’m taking comfort in the fact that when we see each other again, we’ll never be apart again.”
Longley said additional details about the crash would not be made available Friday as Waterville police continue their investigation into the incident.
Trafton Road runs near the line between Waterville and Sidney, while West River Road runs beside the Kennebec River.
A crash near the same intersection in June killed one person and seriously injured another.
