Across the land, Clinton dairy farmer Jennifer Tilton Flood’s alarm at the looming Trump deportation scheme is going to reach a host of deaf ears. Rural America, stoked in no small part by grievance and prejudice, played an enormous role in reelecting a con artist who has repeatedly proven that he is manifestly unfit for the presidency.
There’ll be plenty of suffering to go around and rural America gets no sympathy here.
