MADISON — The 13th annual Madison Christmas Celebration is set for Saturday, Dec. 7.
A pancake breakfast is set for 8-10 a.m. at Christ Community Fellowship on Maple Street; donations accepted.
Madison Public Library at 12 Old Point Ave., will give out gift bags and a special holiday book during regular Saturday business hours 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
A craft and bake sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1 Madison Ave., and a pie sale and events fr children are planned from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. by Madison Historical Society in Old Point Avenue School.
Horse-drawn wagon rides are scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and start at the Town Office on north side of town.
Santa Dash 5K will start at the Main Street Middle School; lineup begins at 1 p.m.
Shop ‘n Sip is planned from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. from local craft vendors at Somerset Abbey.
Merry Madness at Main Street shops will remain open until 7 p.m. Hot cocoa will be offered at CB Law and Campbell’s on Main Street.
The fireworks show will start at 5:15 p.m. with the Christmas Parade starting at 6 p.m. and the Community Christmas Tree lighting following at Main Street Park.
After the parade children can meet Santa and Mrs. Claus at Somerset Abbey.
