JACKMAN — Kelsey Rancourt scored 13 points and added nine rebounds as the Forest Hills girls basketball team beat Carrabec 48-44 in an East/West game on Friday.
Janessa Moffit also had 13 points and 7 rebounds for the Tigers (7-1).
Karen Baker led the Cobras (3-2) with 19 points.
BOYS BASKETBALL
MT. BLUE 50, GARDINER 46: Carter Norton made four 3-pointers and scored 18 points, leading the Cougars (5-2) over the Tigers (4-2) at the Augusta Civic Center.
Tyler Abell added 14 points and Nolan Leso scored 11.
Brady Peacock (19 points), Brady Atwater (13) and Trace Moody (12) accounted for all put two of Gardiner’s points.
OAK HILL 65, WATERVILLE 37: Braden Dubuc and Eli Desmond each scored 16 points, leading the Raiders to a win over the Purple Panthers in Wales.
Desmond got all but two of his points in the second half. Oak Hill (2-4) held the Purple Panthers (2-6) to three points in the second quarter as it turned a 15-15 tie into a 29-18 lead, then continued to pull away from there.
Braden New also reached double figures with 10 points. Derek Couture scored 21 points for Waterville.
FOREST HILLS 82, RANGELEY 46: Jaxson Desjardins scored 23 points and four assists as the Tigers won in Jackman.
Blaine Nadeau also had 20 points and 12 rebounds for Forest Hills (5-3).
Anthony Whittier led the Lakers (1-5) with 25 points.
ISLESBORO 49, TEMPLE 29: Robert Conover scored 15 points as the Bereans won in Isleboro.
Harper Conover also had 15 points for Temple (0-6).
Ricardo Louis led the Eagles (2-3) with 12 points.
HAMPDEN 45, LAWRENCE 37: Aidan Kochendoerfer scored 17 points as the Broncos (4-2) won in Fairfield.
Cole Quirion scored eight points for the Bulldogs,
Preston Roy also had eight points for Lawrence (0-7).
