The Eunice Farnsworth-Ruth Heald Cragin chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, based in Skowhegan, presented Lambert’s Auto Body in Norridgewock with an American flag to replace its damaged, tattered one on Dec. 21.
The new flag was received through the Salute to the Stars & Stripes Chapter Grant Program. This was one of 250 chapters that applied for, and was awarded, this grant to replace worn flags in the community, according to a news release from Francine York.
Vice Regent Kathy Palmer Dellarma presented Lambert’s Auto Body a certificate and a United States flag that was flown over DAR Memorial Continental Hall in Washington, D.C.
