JAY — The town is reminding canine owners that licenses were due Jan. 1, and a $25 late fee begins Feb. 1. Dogs should be registered by the end of the month.
The state’s online dog registration is available. Owners can complete a new or renewal dog license online through Jan. 31 by going to apps1.web.maine.gov, uploading a pdf of the valid rabies certificate and completing the registration. The portal is only available through Jan. 31.
Owners also can continue to register their dog at the Town Office, 340 Main St.
