Steven Robert Vashon

JACKMAN – Steven Robert Vashon, 65, passed away peacefully on Dec. 27, 2024 in Jackman, Maine. He was born to Reginald and Lillian Vashon in Waterville on June 1, 1959.

In younger years he attended Hilltop school in Waterville then Project Leaf in Fairfield. Later in life he moved to Northland Living Center in Jackman until his death.

Though mentally and physically challenged he was a charmer and loved his church, music, dancing, food and all the holidays.

He is survived by his mother Lillian Vashon; siblings Daniel, Michael and his wife Samantha, and Olivia. He was predeceased by his father Reginald Vashon.

His family extends special thanks to the staff at Northland Living Center for their wonderful care for 25 years; their kindness and support made a profound difference to him and his family.

There will be a mass and service held at Notre Dame Church in Waterville on Saturday, Jan. 25 at 11 a.m. A reception to follow in the church hall. Burial will be at a later date in the spring. Burial will be at a later date in the spring.

Arrangements are under the care of Veilleux,Redington,Lawry Brothers Funeral Home, 8 Elm St. Waterville.
