Barbara “B.J.” Jean McNulty

HARTLAND – Barbara Jean McNulty, 39, lovingly called B.J., passed away on Jan. 11, 2025, in Pittsfield.

She was born on Dec. 28, 1985, in Waterville, a daughter of Daniel McNulty and Susan (Eliopoulos) George. She graduated from Lawrence High School and absolutely loved being a part of the Goodwill Life Works Day Program in Waterville.

B.J.’s smile could light up a room! She was very social and everyone was her friend. Her favorite show was “Let’s Make a Deal” and she knew the movie “Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter is Dead” by heart. She enjoyed being a “porch sitter” with her family, liked drinking coffee milk, and loved warhead candy. She enjoyed long rides, camping, jamming to 60-70’s music, and making silly videos with her sister and nieces. She loved Chinese food, pink flamingoes, singing, and dancing. Our lives will never be the same without her. She was dearly loved.

She is survived by her mom and stepdad, Suzanne and Scott George; her dad and stepmom, Daniel and Denise McNulty; her siblings: Ann McNulty, Brandon George and wife Jennifer, Shane George and wife Erica, and Kyle Farmer; 13 beloved nieces and nephews; grandmother, Yvette Bard; grandfathers, Paul Eliopoulos and Earl Alexander; her uncle, Mac; her aunts, Sabrina, Dawn, and Lisa; and her favorite cousin, Natasha.

She was predeceased by her grandmother, Barbara Eliopoulos; and grandparents, Paul and Alice McNulty.

The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m., Thursday, January 16, 2025, at the Shorey-Nichols Funeral Home, 191 Hartland Ave., Pittsfield.
