BRYANT POND — A Women’s Winter Skills Weekend is set for Friday to Sunday, Feb. 7-9, at the University of Maine 4-H Camp & Learning Center at Bryant Pond, 17 Conservation School Road.
Saturday will feature workshop sessions including Ice Fishing 101, Learn to Trap, Introduction to Rifle Shooting, Hike Preparedness, Map and Compass, and Winter Survival.
On Sunday, participants will choose their own adventure, with options including an ice fishing expedition, snowshoe hike, the art and science of fly tying, or snowmobile safety.
The fee is $285. All backgrounds and experience levels are welcome.
