FARMINGTON — The High Peaks Alliance, in collaboration with the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce, has set the inaugural High Peaks Outdoor Heritage Festival for Saturday, June 21, at the Farmington Fairgrounds, 292 High St.
This event will celebrate Maine’s outdoor heritage and feature the 2025 Maine Moose Lottery, according to a news release from Amanda Laliberte, director of engagement, High Peaks Alliance.
Outdoor enthusiasts, families and community members are welcome; attendees can participate in the lottery.
The festival will include educational demonstrations on wildlife conservation, outdoor skills, and sustainable practices from local experts; local vendors in a marketplace featuring local guides and outdoor gear; and family friendly activities such as games, crafts, and interactive exhibits designed for all ages.
There will also be live music and performances from local artists.
Sponsorship and vendor opportunities for businesses and organizations are available. Sponsorship levels range from $2,500 to $10,000, with benefits including logo placement on event materials, vendor space, social media promotion, and speaking opportunities at the Moose Permit Lottery.

We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
For those stories that we do enable discussion, our system may hold up comments pending the approval of a moderator for several reasons, including possible violation of our guidelines. As the Maine Trust’s digital team reviews these comments, we ask for patience.
