Guy Raymond Beaulieu

WATERVILLE – Guy Raymond Beaulieu passed away at the age of 72, in Augusta, on Monday, Jan. 13, 2025, surrounded by family.

Guy was born April 15, 1952, in Waterville, the son of Ulysses Beaulieu and Therese (Poulin) Beaulieu. He attended Connecticut Public Schools and later graduated from KVCC with an associate degree in Respiratory Therapy.

His early working career was spent doing multiple odd jobs, such as yard maintenance, furniture building, and woodworking. In 1995, he was hired at Maine General as a Respiratory Therapist. He worked there for 19 years, mostly in the Cardiology department. Guy power lifted at Gilly’s Gym for years, winning multiple awards. While there, he also coached the youth powerlifting team. He was a member of the Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Waterville, where he served as an Elder for many years.

Guy could often be seen riding his Harley, which was one of his many joys. He loved watching football, especially his favorite team, the New York Giants. He always enjoyed helping others. Even towards the end of battling Alzheimer’s disease, he always asked the nurses at Glenridge Nursing Home what he could do to help. In 1995 he married the love of his life, Robyn Pierce. He loved his family like nobody else and was his daughter’s best friend.

He was predeceased by his father, Ulysses Beaulieu, his mother, Therese (Poulin) Beaulieu; and his two older sisters, Jacqueline Veilleux and Lucille Nutt; and his nephew, Mike Veilleux.

He is survived by his wife Robyn (Pierce) Beaulieu; his son, Jacob Beaulieu and wife Marla, their soon-to-be born son, James Guy; his daughter, Ally Beaulieu; his brother, Luc Beaulieu and wife Lisette; and several nieces.

A memorial service will be held at the Waterville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 416 Upper Main St., Waterville, on Jan. 25, at 2 p.m. All are welcome. To attend digitally on Zoom use link 2520251914, no password required.

The family would like to thank the staff at Glenridge Nursing Home in Augusta for the amazing care they gave to Guy over the last year.
