Wendy E. Gorden
WAYNE – Wendy E. Gorden, 67, passed at her home on Jan. 10, 2025.
Wendy was born on Jan. 12, 1957 in Augusta, to Donald Chase Sr. and Barbara (Fuller) Chase.
She was a volunteer on the Wayne rescue in her younger days and worked as a pharmacy tech, cook, caterer, and other positions in the service industry.
Wendy was predeceased by her husband, Ed Gorden; parents; and sisters Donna Gray and Marjorie Hochmuth.
She is survived by brother, Donald Chase, Jr. and wife Donna, brothers-in-law Doug Gorden, Stuart Gorden, Sherman Gorden and wife Rhonda; along with several nephews and nieces. She also leaves behind her beloved Boston Terrier, Buster, who has been gratefully adopted by a family friend.
A memorial service will be held in the spring.
