 
Ronald Phillip Dennett
ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. – Ronald Phillip Dennett, born Sept. 19, 1944, of Zephyrhills, Fla., passed away peacefully Jan. 16, 2025, in the presence of his loving family.
Ron was born in Augusta, Maine and lived most of his life there, retiring to Zephyrhills in 2015. He was very proud to have served his community as a member of the School Board for several years, many as Chairman. He enjoyed reading and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren (at the lake, on the fields and mostly at the hockey rink), and the many friends and acquaintances he made during his long career at G.M. Pollack & Sons, downtown Augusta.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Londa (Lake); son Shawn, daughter-in-law Johanna (Alston), grandchildren Lauren, Lindsay and Nathan all of Franklin, Mass.; sister Andrea (Spearin) of Gardiner, brothers, Charles and his wife Diane of Winthrop, Dennis and his wife Robin of Augusta and Timothy of Augusta; in-laws James and Sue Cantrell of Topsham, James and Kim Alexander of New Palz, NY and Karen Sweetser; along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Marjorie (Grimshaw), his mother-in-law Ethel Lake, and his beloved daughter, Jennifer Lynn.
Consistent with his wishes, there will not be any public services.
