Kenneth “Ken” Ketchum
SKOWHEGAN – Kenneth “Ken” Ketchum, 82, passed away in Portland after a lengthy illness surrounded by family. Ken was born in Skowhegan on April 11, 1942, son to Blanche and Verne Ketchum.
Ken was known by many as the owner of a local gun shop in Skowhegan; a hobby that turned into a full-time job. His kindness, generosity, and humor will be remembered by all that knew him.
He was predeceased by his parents; his brother Harold, and his sister-in-law Catherine.
Ken is survived and missed by his loving partner Sandy White; his son James; brother and sister-in-law Harland and Avis of Yorktown, Va.; many nieces and nephews; many long-time friends; his lunch crew; and his dog Bailey
A Memorial Service will be held in the spring.
