AUBURN — The U.S. Ice Cross Association and Lost Valley have announced the USIX Cup Series, the final ice cross race for this season, is set to begin at 6 p.m. daily Thursday to Saturday, Feb. 13-15, at 200 Lost Valley Road.
Athletes from around the world will race downhill on an iced track to earn points towards their series competition which culminates at Lost Valley.
The event is free to spectators who can watch on foot alongside the course in designated areas. Squirrel Run Trail has been modified with jumps, rollers, berms and other features, which will be iced over to create the downhill course that finishes near the intersection of Otterslide and Bear Trails.
