WATERVILLE — Colby College’s Halloran Lab for Entrepreneurship is offering a one-day free entrepreneurship boot camp focused on social impact and improving well-being.

This event is open to all students, teens and young adults across Maine and New England, including those younger than 18 with a parent or guardian. All experience levels are welcome.

The boot camp is set for 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 1, in the Parker-Reed room in the Schair-Swenson-Watson Alumni Center at 4000 Mayflower Hill Drive.

Led by Henrik Scheel, founder & CEO of Startup Experience, this hands-on workshop will teach participants how to develop and pitch ideas that drive meaningful social impact, according to a news release from the college.

Participants will join teams, develop their creative capacity and entrepreneurial confidence, and acquire the skills to build scalable ventures that address real-world challenges. More than $1,000 in prizes will be awarded to the top teams.

No prior experience is needed. The camp can facilitate up to 200 students.
