
Christine Ann Gallant
ANSON – Christine Ann Gallant, 69, of Anson, peacefully passed away on Feb. 11, 2025. “Chrissy” was born on August 15, 1955, in Biddeford. She attended Waterville High School and proudly earned her diploma in 2013.
Chrissy held many jobs through her life from waitressing to being a pharmacy technician. Her favorites though were working at L.L Bean, Barclay’s and for the State of Maine, Probation and Parole in Skowhegan.
On May 3, 1992, she married the love of her life, Ronald Gallant. They enjoyed traveling anywhere in a camper and staying near the water. Her favorite spots were All Mountain Pond and Spencer Lake. They loved traveling the back roads of Maine looking for natural treasures and wildflowers.
Chrissy was known for her baking and gift wrapping skills, her beautiful hand-writing, and for the thoughtful and treasured crocheted gifts she made with love. Her perfectly polished nails, colorful, fun jewelry and a sundress were her trademark look. She loved a good book, her gazebo, blues music, flowers, purses and her annual friend “conventions”.
Along with her beloved husband Ron, she is survived by her children, Bridget (Chris) Charrier, Christy (Lee) White, Shane Remmers and Brandy Remmers, her step-daughters Tammy (Ralph) Tranten and Stacie (Mike) Gallant, step-sons, Michael Gallant and Stephen Hodgden; grandchildren, Kolby Martin, Kassidy Roberts, Shaine, Noah and Sophie White, Ian Douin, Ava Bickford and Michael Remmers, Megan and Jordan Tranten, Brooke and Mitchell Bonenfant, Breanna and Cassidy Sirois, and Charlie Mateo; great grandchildren, Evelyn, Haven, Lainey, Lucy, Ivy, Ramsey, Tatum and Jameson with several great grands due later this year.
She is also survived by her sister Molly Whitten and brothers Bill and Jeff Brennan, brother-in-law Edward (Diane) Gallant and sister-in-law Pat (James) Rea; a large friend group including best friends Laurie Kivlin and Marie Charest. Lastly, her cat, Snickerdoodle.
She was predeased by her birth parents Anita (Brochu) and William Brennan, mother, Geraldine Sargent, sister Judy Violette, brother Craig Brennan, mother-in-law Virginia Gallant and son-in-law Lee White.
A military burial service and life celebration will be held in the spring.
